I think that is going to be near impossable. The only program guides I am aware of are encrypted so you can't get those. A buddy had an idea to get a Dish network reciever only for the purpose of looking at their guide. The few channels you can get should be in the guide also. Just a though don't know if anyone has tried it. I think I remember DTV sen't their guide signal even if you didn't have a subscription. Don't know maybe theirs wasn't encrypted.

Anyone else know where you can find information on the FTA channels that are out there without having to get another reciever and try what I said? I am very interested in that too. I have some channels but don't know what they are without watching and entire show and looking for info about what channel I am watching. Then even worse once I figured out what channel some of them are then I can't figure out what is on next.

FTA is nice and all but I can see where I might keep my cable subscription.

walken;...don't feel like the lone ranger.unless you have VGA capability on your television, you must watch an EPG on a monitor with most boards. They can consume a lot of disc space in a short amount of time.My Theatre has an automatic EPG clean, but ProgDVB does not;you must do a manual clear and dump(and I don't mean running the wife and kids outta the john before you use it).
