Fortec and Coship Signal Quality

Hello:
I have a fortec star system connected to my dish. I get a signal quality of 94-96. I hooked up a coship receiver to the same dish (replaced the fortec system) and I get a signal quality of 23-26 but I do get an image. Any idea why that big difference between those 2 receivers? Could it be possible to get a 96 signal quality on a coship system?

Thank you

Re: Fortec and Coship Signal Quality

As long as you don't get break-up on the video/audio, no need to worry about the signal reading. Each receiver use its own formular to calculate signal strength/quality. Comparing one brand to another is like orange to apple.
