FTA & Dish network installation options

Yesterday I order a complete system Fortec Lifetime Ultra (Choice number 3 in sadoun web site). Actually I do have Dish network at home (two receiver and one 500 dish). At the beginning, my goal is to have the FTA channel only for one TV. What options I have to connect the FTA system to my current installation. :?:

Re: FTA & Dish network installation options

Please be more specific. Are you trying to combine DishNetwork with your coming Fortec system? Describe your Dish 500. What kind of lnbf it has? A big fat one or 2 saperate lnbfs?

My question was so general, may be because I’m new in this.

For the lnbf I think it's a big fat one.

What it's matter for me is having the two system connected and I can switch between the dish Network and FTA system easily.

What you mean by combine?

For now, just leave your DishNetwork system as the way it is. Set up the Ku dish, run another cable into your house for the FTA system. If you TV has more than one A/V input, connect the AV output of the Fortec receiver to whichever input is available. If your TV only has one A/V input, you can buy a A/V selector or a A/V receiver to switch between DishNet and FTA.
Hope this answer your question.
