do i need a different LNB than the one i have (universal kind that i got from here) to recieve Anik signals?

Yeah it should work; any type of linear LNB is fine.

There are no 24/24 FTA DVB channels on Anik birds. Most the feeds on these birds are Starchoice, DC2 (meaning DVB receivers can't lock on this type of signal, therefore DVB receivers can't be used to get DC2 FTA channels).
So in my opinion, it's not worth aiming a dish to them.
