Echostar 9 at 121 W or Telstar 13

I am looking to get some channels on this bird.
I have few questions:
Can I get this bird using Fortec star 786NA
Do I have to make any changes in freq.
What kind of dish I have to use? (some say use SUPER DISH
what is super dish? where can I get it?
what are the Az/ele for this 121 bird echostar 9 ( telstar 13 )
Please help me the experts.

99% of the channels are encrypted. This bird is linear Ku, meaning you need a large dish (30 or 36") with a linear ku lnbf to get the signal from it. If you see some of them FTA, don't expect them to last long. In my opinion, it's not worth your time to setup a dish for this bird.
If you still want to see this sat, you can get the azimuth/elevation for your location at:

Thank you dtsexpert. Appreciate your time.
I have 76cm dish and a universal Ku (7600) LNB. Do these work?
I understand they are encrypted. I just want to try for one channel.
Thanks

Yes, it will work. Go to that link, manually keying 121 in the box "satellite West Longtitude", then select the "city near you". Remeber the azimuth does not include magnetic deviation. Scoll down to the botton of the page to get the magnetic deviation for your location. Skew is import for this bird since it is linear.
