isaacs is on a distinguished road
How far can I run audio/video signals?

My dish network receiver is in one room and I wish to connect a remote tv to it in another. Because of the way I have to route the wiring, it looks like I'll have about 75' of wire.

Can I go that far with the video signal? (RCA jacks, not coax) I'm not expecting any problem with the audio.

Or should I try to make up an S video cable that's that long. Is it just a 5 conductor shielded cable that I could splice into the middle of a patch cord?

If you are refering to the signal from the RF output of your receiver, you will probably lose signal. You could try it.

If it doesn't work, check the wireless Audio Video tranmistter option we have here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Accessories.htm
