help!

I am new at digital sat but have a c-band system. Installed fortec 786v3
in c-band system. #1- Can't get video or audio from Fortec. C-band is
ok using orig output from Uniden Rcvr. I talked to Sadoun to get if loop
to work, but rca cables not working thru vcr & fortec seems stuck in
original mode. Can't even bring up menus to start.
