Newbie trying to find Telstar-5 got signal but no quality

HI
I am a newbie for satellite dish not even for direct TV dish
I got Fortec Star DVB-786v3 receiver, 36" Fortec star dish, and STAB HH100 motor
I was trying to find telsatr-5 satellite
My location is 46.735247 N, 117.172936 W
I calculate the elevation, azimuth, tilt thing using sadoun's web site
I think dish is installed properly.
Then I followed installation direction from sadoun
For reciver setting
I go to installation option from menu
For antenna setting
Antenna 1
LNB type : universal
LNB power :V/H
22Khz : auto
DisEqC : off
12V : off
then store the setting

For channel Search
Search index : 1
antenna : 1
Satellite : select Telstar-5 (97.0W)
Search mode : NIT FTA
TP data : I select the transponder frequency 12152 or 11898 or 12177
Positioner : none ( actual menual say off but I only have none or other option)
Then I was trying to align the dish to get green bar for signal and quality
The signal goes to 75% but no quality at all
I was trying to turn the dish clock and counterclock wise a little bit and wait 1 minute for each time but still quality is zero and signal is not changed at all (remains 70 -75%)
Please give me a direction
And actually I want to see the channel from galaxy 10R and AMC4
I appreciate you guys help in advance

edit
my location is zip 99163
Latitude 46.7 longitude 117.2
my calculation gave me
LNBF polarization tilt : -18
Dish elevation 23
Azimuth 162 (including magnetic deviation)

Re: Newbie trying to find Telstar-5 got signal but no qualit

I have no experience with setting up the STAB motor, so someone else will have to help with those settings, however 2 things stand out about what you say. First, I would recommend starting looking for a satellite close to due south of you. Ie instead of T5, why don't you start looking for G10r that you were wanting to watch anyway.
However, more importantly, if you are intending to use the motor to go to different satellites, you don't want to use the LNB tilt. That parameter is only used when you use your mount as a fixed AZ/EL mount. If you are going to use the motor, set the LNB vertical, and the motion of the dish will put the lnb at the proper angle. So I'd recommend re-doing your calculations for G10r.

Thanks for your comment
Once I finish the assembly not to tilt the LNB, Do I have to use remote control to move the dish to find the satellite (G10R) ?
Actual manual said that after finishing the assembly, aim the dish to true south and considering magnetic deviation (my case -18 degree) then
move the dish using remote control (it has a move option) peak the signal for satlellite in the horizon
We have a snow an rain again I may try tomorrow

Yes, you must use the receiver's remote control to move the dish - unless you have one of those mini-positioners.
