Using a standard receiver to operate a BUD how to...

Can the Satcruiser DSR-101 control the polarity of a servo motor on a C/Ku feedhorn using an Aston SatSeeker dish mover? I know it has the 14/18V polarity control option, but how does that work? Would I manually have to adjust the skew on the dish mover itself or does the receiver send commands over and then the dish mover adjusts the skew automatically? On the Satcruiser DSR-2040, it has a skew control, but im not sure how the 101 works. Please let me know before i buy.

Thanks!

The DSR-101 cannot drive a polarity (skew) motor on a BUD. Only a receiver such as the DSR-2040 can do that. The 14/18 volt circuit simply switches a fixed dish LNB between vertical and horizontal polarity for a linear LNB or left hand / right hand in the case of a circular polarity LNB. How the Aston Satseeker fits into the picture I'm really not sure - never used one.
