Problem with my Twinhan DVB-S

hi every body
i bought a Twinhan DVT-S express 2 days ago and after i pluged it in it made my PC go nuts
when i try to install the driver the PC hangs
when the driver and the softeare were finally installed the PC hangs every time i try ti scan for channels
i tried to plug it in a new PCI ,installed a new Windows,used the newest driver and software and all did nothing
can any body tell me what is the problem and hw to fix it

I used the software from tyhe twinhan website 2008version "DigitalTV"

security software could be the issue?

I don't have this equipment. I have had problems with some software not being compatible with my security software.
Try turning off your security software, virus software, and your firewall software and see if the Twinham software functions properly.

The better idea is to run the dvb software in SAFE MODE to test its functionality.

I suggest you install DVBDream or ProgDVB and try with them.

DR Nazy,

Vista or XP?
Processor and Speed?
How much RAM?
Big HDD? Fast?

Did you try the software that came with?

Why did you dowload from Twinhan site?

Old Twinhan software works really good for both DVB-S and DVB-T

What are you trying to receive OTA/ATSC or Satellite?

Windows Xp SP2
P IV 1.7GH
256 RAM
40GB HDD
i tryes the software and the driver that came with it and the same thing happened
and i'm trying to recievw from satellite
