Round your lat to 499 , and you should generally aim the hh mount on to south on the compass but you have to add or subtract your magnetic variation. What is your city? If we know this it will be easier to for us to figure out the variation. You should be able to do it yourself if you read
sadoun's instructions.
When you have the latitude set on the motor's scale, the hh mount pointed perfectly to TRUE SOUTH (that is compass heading +/- magnetic variation of location) and the DISH DECLINATION angle (the elevation of dish) set.... using usals will point perfectly to the sat depending on the lat and long you inputted in the receiver. Now obviously, not everything is perfect. So now where ever the motor stops, thats the position where you should be getting good signal/quailty. First: adjust the hhmount for the best signal you can get. Then, adjust the dish's elevation. A combination of trying to get the best signal from these 2 will yield the best signal/quality for that particular sat. So now all the other sats will be tracked nicely.
