Does switch 2 in 1 deteriorate signal?

I want to know if using a diseqc 2 in 1 switch will lower a signal from either LNB and I also want to know how to setup HH motor.

I have a directv dish and fortec star 90cm dish with universal LNB and sg2100 motor. I want to combine the two dishes into one Foretc star dvb 786v3 receiver. I also have pansat 2 in 1. How will the wiring be setup?

Get a Diseqc 2x1 or 4x1. The switch must be installed between lnbfs and the h-h mount. Port1 for Ku lnbf, port 2 for DirectTV (I assume your DTV dish is aiming at one of the DishNet, DVB FT won't get DTV signal).

yes your assumptions are correct. I am confused to the whole layout. The path between the HH motor out and the receiver must be direct? Is this correct:

Switch: port A (universal lnb) , PORT B (DBS) , 3rd port (to hh mount IN)

MOTOR HH : IN: (from 3rd switch port) OUT: (SAT receiver)

Here is the layout:
1. PortA for Universal Ku, Port B for DTV Dish, the output of the switch connect to the h-h mount input, h-h ouput connected to reiver signal in.
2. Go to antenna settings, set it as follow:

Antena 1
Lnb type: universal
lnb power VH
22khz Off
Diseqc Mini A
12V Off.

Antena 2
lnb type : single (highlight, press OK, make sure it is set as 11250)
Lnb pwoer V/H
22khz off
Diseqc Mini B
12V Off.

Use Diseqc 1.2 or 1.3 for all the linear sats as usual, antenna 1.
Disable Diseqc for DishNet satellites, antenna2.
