Plese help

Hi
I realy like to know if i can get signal from this sat"Express-3A" satellite (11° W) from florida by looking at the foot print i shou't have a problem.
Can you please let me know if im right. Im trying to get some russian channels.

1. You need to find out if you can see the bird in your location.

Manually keying in 11 for "Sat Long", then find your city on the list. If you can see the bird, do # 2. Otherwise forget it.
2. You need to find out if there are any transponders beamed to the State. Even if you see the bird, but none of the transponders cover the US, you are out of luck.

Hi
How would i know if any transponders are beamed to states. And i realy don't know much about sat can you tell me if i want to get signal can you tell me which side should i point to southwest or which one

Go to lyngsat http://www.lyngsat.com/e3a.shtml
Click at "spot A#" in the Beam column.
Check the link on my prior post to see if you can really see this satellite in your location. If not, then no need to check the beam.

Can i get signal on this sat from florida

I looks like i can see this sat im not sure abound beems, when i check footprint its takes all florida and it said Equal gain reception circuits of transponders 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 - A8 antenna (5°x11°) (C-band) under the footprint and all russian canalc on transpander 6.Im still not sure if im right about that. And i also need to know what size of the dish i need.
