One spanish channel at SatMex 6

I just rescanned SatMex6, and there is one spanish channel in the Ku band. The channel is called "Restaranuo" or something like that.

I can post it when I get home. There was a notice on SUN-TV (OCA) that they were shutting down their SetMex5 channel and moving over to SatMex 6. After a full-scan, SatMex6 revealed most of the same chinese channels as SatMex5, but OCA was still dark. I then noticed a new spanish channel there too.

At this time SatMex6 is a C Band sat. Yes I know it does both C and Ku but the majority and I do mean majority of programming is C Band.

Satmex 6 C or Ku band

Sapote,

Jose

If I remember correctly he is using a 10' dish which translates into an actuator or an H2H motor that takes signal same as an actuator. These can be controlled by a DVB receiver via the VBox sold by Sadoun. SatMex5 has a bunch of good chnnels from Mexico on C Band also. Most of anything south of the US border is on C Band.

Restauracion

I am picking up this spanish channel "Restauracion" at 12125 H 2170. VPID51, APID52, PPID53, from SatMex6 (113W). If I am wrong, somebody please tell me so because that can only mean that my system is totally screwed up.

I am not sure if it was Satmex 5 or 6 though. I hope it was. It was a religious channel in Spanish....

Thumbs up Satmex 6

After about 2 hours of trying and trying, I finally got some channels. On both Satmex 6 and Satmex5 on C-band... I did not get all of them on the list of 26 or 27 channels that was listed. I got like 8 or 9 Why? I dont know, but at least I made some progress.... Thanks to every one that helped me out.....

I like to play with stuff like this. I had the big dish on my backyard and I was tempted to take it out and dump it. I am so glad I didnt do it. I like to watch channels from other places and especially from Mexico. Now my next project is getting channels with my smaller dish I think is about 90 cms. w/KU lnb universal 1 I want to get the channels from the Intelsat 6
The TV Azteca channel 7 and 13 I like to watch their soccer broadcast from them. Here we have Azteca America, but it is not the same. Your watching the game and they shrink the soccer screen and put a chevy or other commercial.... YUK
