What is your dish elevation set at? What does this site recommend? Same question for motor.

LOL. At present it is the only one I have not locked with any strength. Go back to your south sat and peak it. Now move to the farthest west sat you can receive. Gently push up on the dish and then pull down. Does the signal get stronger in either direction? Note your results. Now do the same for the east. If the readings are opposite (down on one side makes the signal better and up on the other) rotate your whole assembly on it's mast in the direction of the up movement made stronger. Not much. Now go back to center and repeak using only dish elevation.

Repeat this process until pushing up and pulling down only preduce reductions in signal. You are now properly aligned on true south. Check to see how much of the arc you have now. No further movements on the mast will be required so you can tighten the mounting bolts that hold the assembly to the mast. All further adjustments will be motor and dish elevation.

Am I reading this right that you went from a situation where you could receive a bunch of sats, and now you have lost all those but can receive one that you didn't receive before? What happened between these two posts? Just curious.

You need to work with the adjustments on your dish.. It is simply not aligned correctly yet.

The channels from Ecuador on Hispasat are on a footprint for Europe only.
I believe it's Ecuavisa.

Looking at your lattitude, maybe you can get Nahuel 1 at 72 W. ,this sat does carry Unision from Ecuador, you will need a Universal LNBF to watch Nahuel 1.

The Latin America Footprint covers Southern U.S. , I get marginal reception in Chicago during winter, can watch it now.

The only true FTA channel from Ecuador transmitting in Ku band is UNSION from Cuenca.
Unfortunately the other stations don't care about Ecuadorians in the United States, they only care about the ones in Europe.
In the U.S. if you pay DirectTV you can see Ecuavisa Internacional and if you pay Dish Network you can see Canal 1 Internacional.
On C band you can get Teleamazonas and Gamavision once in a while when they open their signal.

Simply a matter of supply and demand Did you ever get your dish aligned properly? Switching to a universal lnbf will help greatly with channels out over the Atlantic. If you have a spare large dish you may want to look at the offerings on 40.5
