Cool Few questions about superbuddy & starchoice?

I have just started using the super buddy for the first time today. My 1st question is, I see that for Starchoice they have a standard and stacked programmed, what about the quad LNB, is there a program that can be downloaded into the unit to read Quad LNb's. I used the standard choice, and got 72% on the IRD reading side but on the actual dsr209 receiver from starchoice, I had only 38%, WHY? 2ND Question, The battery or power source should be tested under extreme cold/hot conditions and should be notified to us the users on how we should treat this product as they are quite pricey. The temperature today was -28 degrees celsius, and the power life only lasted 5 mins? thanks to anyone who can answer these Questions for me, as they are important to me as an installer... 3rd question is there a another battery that is more powerfull than the one presently in the unit?
