How to install an HH-Mount Motor? Satcontrol SM3D12 STAB HH100 HH120 Motech SG2100

This should answer most questions.

This is a perfect example of automated gone wild. I was attempting to paste in the link to the motorized install page and it magically got converted to a group of links to motors. If I delete the motor names the link disappears. To the original poster only the first portion of the link is correct. Ignore the reference to the motors.

If you got to the correct page you should have an area that let's you find your latitude and longitude. Your motor should be set to your latitude. The sat you align on when first setting up is the sat located at your longitude or nearest to it. That page also shows you how to calculate your dish elevation setting. It also calculates your azimuth for initial alignment of the dish. Your lnbf should be skewed to 0. The coax connection pointed straight down when the motor is at 0.

That drives me crazy too. THere is an option called "Automatically retrieve titles of external links" that seems to cause this. Once it's done, it's hard to repair. I've found it easier to redo the whole link, then delete the damaged one. This whole forum has become too "automated" with respect to thinking that it knows what we are trying to say and do. I prefer the way the forum was a year ago.
