How can I adapt my winegard 76cm to an STAB HH120?
I'm very interested on buying a STAB HH-120 Motor for using with my 1.1m Channel Master Antenna and with a Winegard 76cm Antenna too.
I like to install the motor a few days on my Winegard 76, so I don't know if the Fortec Star U-Bolt Bracket will help the Winegard to fit the STAB HH-120 shaft diameter (2 1/8") or what do I need to get running the Stab Motor with the Winegard Antenna?
Later, I want to install the STAB HH-120 onto my Channel Master 1.1m Antenna and I need the AN-01 ring to fit the STAB on it. I don't know if Sadoun have this accesory on sale.
What would you suggest me?
Any comment will be appreciated!!!

Ok, but...
By specifications, the Digipower SG2100 could move the Channel Master 1.1m because it weighs only 10kg and the SG2100 support 12kg.
If the STAB HH-120 could be adapted using a PVC pipe or the original AN-01 rings accesories, the question is: Could the Digipower SG2100 be adapted the same way that the STAB HH-120 buying any pipe or rings or anything else possibly found in Home Depot or any other store?
Which motor is the best taking account factors like speed, maximum angles, etc? I'm inclined to the Digipower because it's cheaper.
I'm buying the motor because I want to get signal from Hispasat at 30°W to Dish 148°W, could one of this motors reach this? I live in Saltillo,Coahuila, Mexico and as far as I know my closest sat to setup the motor is the AMC 101°W.
Can a experienced motor user help me to know what to buy or not to buy?

it will be hard to get hispasat at 30w with a motor from your location may be hard to receive at all do to curvage of the earth.in other word's the sat is to low for you to receive.

You probably are not going to get much farther east than 55 degrees or so.

So...
I won't be able to get signal from satellites beyond the 101°-55°= 46°W and 101°+55°=156°W ???
So the motorized thing won't cover my expectatives about a motorized system.
Anyway, I couldn't buy the STAB HH-120 because I live in Mexico and SADOUN doesn't accept pay by Credit Card...
Thanks for your attention!

Yes he does and you simply can not see below the horizon line. Has nothing to do with motor or no motor. I am at 87 and can see 30 and maybe as low as 20 to the east.

But...
Here in Saltillo, Coahuila are reports of people who could get signal from Hispasat with a quality near 75%, here are some details for the dish aiming from here:
Azimuth Angle: 98.41°
Elevation Angle: 8.6°
Lnb Tilt (Skew): -63.32°
The only issue is that I have a Winegard 76cm and it needs to be changed, I mean the Up side to Down side, this in order to get that elevation angle of 8.6°.
Anyway I think any motor could get signal from Hispasat 30°W and for Dish 148°W.
Thanks for your comments!

Of course the numbers you show above are for a fixed dish, not a motorized dish. Even though these little dish motors are called H-H, I don't think that they will actually reach the horizons (although I've never tried to push mine. because I can't see any of my horizons). People here have posted that some of these little motors won't get anywhere near the horizon in fact. I think the maximum rotation angle of the motor you're looking at, is about 62 degrees, and "I THINK" that will only get you down to about 22 degrees above the horizon.
If you really want to receive that sat, I'd think your best bet would be with a larger fixed dish. Receiving a satellite less than 10 degrees off the horizon is difficult. No sense making it more difficult by trying to make a motorized system go further than it's designed to go.

If you want to receive the maximum amount of satellites you can combine a motorized dish and a toroidal dish (i.e. T90) for the rest of the clarke belt.

Right.... that is even worse than the HH120. I'm guessing he may have a hard time finding a motor that will reach the horizon unless he goes to an actuator type.
I guess one could mount the motor on a pole tilted to the east, but that would be a lot of work to align. Easier to do a fixed dish.

Just to clarify that is 57 degrees in each direction.

So is the 62 deg listed in the HH120 specs.
I can't remember though.... did the 57 degrees you got require modification? I seem to remember you or someone posting about modifying the 2100 to get more movement?
