I don't know the answer, however, I wonder if the fact that (I THINK) that motor is the one with the shaft pointing UP instead of DOWN, has anything to do with it??? Ie many of the motors have the shaft pointing down, and the seal around the shaft is down where it isn't as likely to leak, however that Stab 100 has the shaft pointed UP, and the seal is really exposed to rain.
I just wonder what the relative reliability of shaft up motors vs shaft down motors is????
