hh120

hi, i got a couple of questions, i recieved my hh120 a couple days ago i bought from sadoun, first is i didnt get a card or anything to fill out or tell me how to regester it for warranty.

i noticed the motor has about 2 or 3 degrees of play in it, is this normal ?

3rd is this, i had already fixed a verry good solid and level 2.25'' pole to mount the motor on, i got a pansat 3500s reciever, well i set up the motor with an old channel master oval dish, my most south sat (with signal for a linear lnb) is amc 3 @ 87, i already had the channels in my reciever , i lined it all up and it worked fine, so i was gonna aim at 89, it worked fine
then i tried 91 and so on all seemed to be fine till i changed channels to go back to the others i had just scanned, it all went out of whack, i had to use usals and make the motor move the dish atleast 10 degrees to get my first sat back, in other words every time the motor moves it throws the others out, so i finally left it on a sat for a while and in about 10 minuts it started loosing signal , i had to ajust usals again to get it back.
my satelite dish is all tight and solid, i made a mount to use the channel master with the hh120 and it is tight , the dish dont move on the motor.
i rechecked everything, all coax is good, i got less than 100' of quad sheild rg6 with compression ends at every connection, i even did a factory reses on my reciever and it is still the same.
i would think it would be because of the play in the motor but when i change satelites it varys from 1 to 17 degrees i have to make up fou every time with usals.
it does it if it is east of my south sat and if its west too (from 61 to 129)
sorry for the long post , any help or ideas would be appriciated.

oh and im planning on ordering a 120cm fortec and an invacom qph-031 in a couple more weeks from here, but id like to get this motor trouble fixed first

my hh100 did that the other night and i reference the motor to 0 and started working fine.some times if you change sats to quick it gets the motor confused.the stab 100 also have the play in it that you speak of.

I have been using the HH12o motor since april.no problems.
Maybe you should talk to the Sadoun tech, since it is a new motor, and see what he suggest.
Reinhold.
