Unhappy Motor HH90 problem

Hi Sadoun,

This is my first post, and I found this forum from a friend, in an attempt of finding solution for my HH90 Motor.

As for my satellite configuration I do have the following equipment:
  • dreambox 500 (images: sfteam/ pli)
  • 60cm aluminum dish
  • motor HH90 Stab/USALS
  • invacom LNB
  • 10m cable
I recently bought an HH90 Motor from an e-shop. It was working perfect untill yesterday afternoon when I had an electric cut. This happened while the dish was moving (changing satellite).

After the electric current came back, the motor didn't remember any more any position.
For the first hours of my trials to recover it was only moving in position 0 and somewhere in the end of the EAST.

After a lot of trials and resets of the image, even I reflashed the images, to see if something can change.
Then all of a sudden the dish moved to position 0 and stuck in there. Whatever command I'm giving it ignores it. Now it makes back and forward without giving it any commands...

Do you have any emergency procedure that I have to follow, or should I send it back? Is there a way to recover it?

Doesn't this motor have any RESET button?

Thank you.

try unplugging your system for a few minutes and see if it comes back. these things are like a computer and needs to be rebooted from time to time.

Yep, i did last night for the rest of the night. No luck though.
Today I flashed the original dreambox image v1.08. No luck again.

It doesn't respond to any command. By time to time, it goes and stick in the West, and then it goes and stick in the East.

I really can't understand what's wrong with this motor.
Isn't it any recover procedure, any reset button, anything?

There should be a reset button on the base of the motor to return it to home. If it is not on the bottom look around the entire unit... it should be there somewhere.

There isn't any , only SG2100A has one of them ...
The shop already gave me a return number, to send it back for repair while its in the warranty.

You shouldn't have hijacked aktizol's thread. He's right to be upset with you. I have deleted your posts in this topic. If you wish to ask the question again, start another thread and do not make any references to hacking -- which we all know you are doing.
