Help With Connecting Motor to Disq

I want to be able to have my motor on one port of the disq switch and have my LNBs on the remainder of the Ports on the Disq Switch and have the reciever connected directly to the input side of the disq switch. The reason I want to do this is because the motor seems to suck up a bit of the signal and I have a long run to my dish. I use MyTheater for my application and have a SM3D12 Motor.

Will this work?

I don't think so.

Nor do I think your motor should be "sucking up the signal" either. You might check the f-connectors to make sure they're crimped on properly, etc.

The typical installation is to run the coax from the receiver to the motor, then from the motor to the switch, then from the switch to the LNBFs.

It is definitely putting a dent in the signal

The motor definitely is. The cables I am using are high grade rg6 quad shielded cable that have factory connection on them. I bought these for the purpose of testing that. When I bypass the motor and run it straight through the disq switch and then to the reciever or in my case a computer with a twin han card in it. I get 10% better signal quality and almost 20% more signal. I am also dealing with a very long run. about 100 Ft. I know that does not help any.
