Bad diseqc switch and hh120?!

I am trying to isolate my problem. It started happening when I put my diseqc switch in so I am treating it as a main suspect. The sqitch isa 2 year old 2x1 switch I got from Sadoun.

Here is the problem. I have about 120' cable run from the receiver to the motor. It works perfectly fine without the switch (switch is between the motor and the LNBFs). Let's say I do a blind search on Hispasat. It searches fine, but when it is done and the polarity is switched from V to H and it tries to tune the found channel, the dish starts moving back west. I have to let the dish go past 0 degrees before it will move back east. Otherwise, it keeps moving west until it reaches western limit.

If anyone is interested, this turned out not to be a bad diseqc switch. I hade a simple RCA line amplifer on my cable run that I forgot about. It seems that it was a clulprit.
