HH STAB 100 ROTOR can't download AMC4 progrms-Lifetime Ultra

I am about going googy trying to get AMC4 Satellite. I used to get it but had lots of problems tuning in the channels and it was impossible to get all of them in tune. I took my receiver back to original factory settings and reinstalled all of my sats. Now it is worse than it was AMC3 gets pictures but no audio. Galaxy10 downloads only 2 programs. AMC4 gets only 6 programs downloaded for TV and 3 radio cannels. USALs is not dependable and it is necessary to switch to 1.2 to tune and when go back to Usals it goofs again. I need some helping advice--SOMEBODY!!!!!

Bob

if your receiver misses channel when you scan, this means that your dish is not pointed the best it can be. Furthermore, the fact that you need 1.2 to find better signal and not using USALS is more evidence that you need to get out and adjust your dish.

?nd remember that these satellites dont have hundreds of channels. They only have a few. Look to lyngsat to see if your missing something.

AMC 3 PBS channels have no audio because they are AC-3 and you need an AC-3 decoder to hear them. That's why there is an SPDIF cable output in the back.

What receiver do you have?

USALS is the best there is for motorized systems. If you don't use it, you maybe off the clarke belt. Also, check your motor, dish, and lnbf. Tell us more about your gear and the good folks here will help.
