Fortec Communications, through its partnership with
STAB in North America, has announced an extension of the warranty offered on the STAB line of
motors. Motors sold after February 7, 2005 will now carry a 3-YEAR manufacturer warranty. This is 2 years longer than the previously provided 1-year warranty.
The change in the warranty will apply to the
HH100,
HH120 motor, as well as to the more recently launched
HH90 motor purchased in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Consumers are reminded to keep their proof of purchase with the purchase date information for the administration of warranty work. The warranty outside North America has not changed, and consumers should consult with their dealer for more information.
“The best motor on the market deserves the best warranty,” says David McGrath, the General Manager for Fortec Communications. Fortec’s association with STAB started in 2004 when they became the exclusive importer of the STAB motors. Through Fortec’s existing distribution Network in North America, STAB motors are now widely available. “We started distributing the STAB motor because consumers of our receivers asked us to recommend the best motor,” indicated Mr. McGrath. “After studying the different manufacturers of motors, we concluded that the best, most reliable motor, is the STAB motor.”
