Modify BEV 18" disk for StabHH120

I just got this motor and am having a problem attaching a BEV 18" dish to the over-sized post on the motor. Are there any suggestions for a newbie?

Motors are not intended for minidishes such as the Bell 18". You would need to perform major alterations on the mounting bracket. Really you should get at least a 30" dish anyway because it will bring in way more FTA channels from many satellites. The 18" won't cut it.
