Thread: new to dish motors

    new to dish motors

    Hi guys and gals i am new to the hole dish motor setup
    i have a stabb hh90 motor and a 39" fta dish to go with my Coolsat 7000 PVR stb
    Any of the sites i go to tell me to point my dish at 61.5 cause that the the due south bird i need to point at but i was told that i would need a bigger dish but i am not looking for anything off that sat seeing that its one of dishnet works but i am goin to use of my old dss lnb's till i can buy a QPH-031
    any help would be great
    i was on lyngsat to see what i could get with a old dss lnb looks like a lot of channels

    the 39" dish should be plenty big enough. the motor may be a little small for the dish though.

    i forgot to tell yas i am in eastern canada, where i got the dish and motor i asked ne of them if the dish is to big for the motor and he said it would be ok
    if anyone could help me out with some # on where to set the motor at that would be great

    you set the motor on the latitude scale to your latitude then aim at your true south sat which would be the one located closest to your longitude.

    where do you get ur # from or where would i beable to get mine
    use a compass maybe
