Telefonica's footprint is for southamerica only. No matter what you do you won't be able to watch this satellite.
The Amazonas satellite on Ku does not have a footprint for north america, only C band and there is nothing interesting.
If you want to watch Colombian channels for free the best way to do it legally is thru NSS806.
You need a 6' antenna, a C band circular LNB and a receiver of your choice.![]()
Who ever knows... give it a try...
According to Hispasat homepage
owners and operators of Amazonas @61w
here is the official footprint...
-- Antartica partial
-- South America full
-- Central America full
-- Caribean full
-- North America full (Alaska=no)
-- Canada full
-- England full
-- Spain full
-- Europe+Africa partial
Amazing bird!
Puerto Rico testers use 6-feet dish
LNB KU-Lineal 10750 noise 0.3dB
Transponder 12092 is currently on the clear
other TPs are encripted...
The map shows Amazonas Ku footprint for south america.
If you visit LYNGSAT you will see that Telefonica Chile and Colombia are providing service to south america only therefore using a beam for southamerica.
The owners of Amazonas explains the capabilities and/or original plan for their satellite.![]()
