Can you confuse the 101 and the 119 Sats?

I tried to install a satellite using my Acutrac22 plus. I found the sat quickly enough. However, Although I had a signal strengh of 70 plus on my acutrac, and 90 plus on the Ird, I kept getting the searching for Sat message. I see that I am only able to get Signals on 3 transponders. I think they were 28, 30 and 31. Could it be I am honing in on the 119 sat? How close are they? Also, on the acutrac22, is the Top port (Where the LNB sig goes) used to measure the 119 sat Signal and the bottom for the 101? Or vice versa? I lost the Manual for the Accutrac and I been trying to find anything to help me learn as much as possible. Thanks !!

Yes you could confuse these satellites with the Acutrac22plus.

These DirecTV satellites are 9* apart. It doesn't matter which post you use. If you are trying to peak the signal for the two satellites at the same time, the acutrac22Plus is a very good tool.

Point the dish in the general azimuth direction and use the Acutrac to peak the signal. BAAAMMM 1, 2, 3 and you will get it.
