What's your location? Which Directv signal are you looking to get? Do you already have subscription and the receiver?

Your location is the biggest factor here.

95W carries Direct Latin America. I am not sure if it can be received in US, maybe in southernomst areas. If it can be recieved in Texas, the bigger the dish, the better. As for LNBF, I don't think that Sadoun sells LNBF needed for Directv Latin America. It seems to be circular polarization, but the frequency range is much lower then regular Directv.

IS that what you are looking at (Directv Latin America) or maybe I am unaware that US Directv is adding international programming to that satellite as well?

Either way, you will need a Directv provided receiver and the subscription.

    ccuina,
actually Direct tv charges $150 for the dish itself, I was wondering if there was a cheaper solution to this. The subscription will eventually come from DTV.

Please let me know if you are successful in getting signal from G3C location for 95w satellite.

    thanks,
    IK

Yes we have a cheaper solution. The Fortec Star 36" Dish is an excellent choice for 95W.

I clicked the above link but it takes to the main page, can't see the dish. I was able to find the dish you are talking about but having problem picking up the right LNBF. Since the LNBF is not included with the dish I have to buy it seprately. Could you please tell me which LNBF I need to buy with this dish in order to pick up signal from Directv SAT 95W. My location is Minnesota.

    Thank you.

You will need a standard Linear LNBF. We don't have new ones in stock for this LNBF, we have a couple of used but working ones (not listed on website).

If you want to order the USED LNBF ($9) with the dish, add it here: Order LNBF

Then go to the website http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/Forte...sh-antenna.htm and add the dish.

I ordered all the stuff as you mentioned and I recieved my package today. The LNBF was not sent neither there was any note stating the reason why it was not sent nor I recieved any e-mail. My card was charged for the LNBF and the Dish.
