    Direct TV in New Jersey

I am trying to setup my new PANSAT 2500A with an 18" DirectTV dish in New Jersey, Toms River area. I am trying to receive EchoStar 7 channels and my dish adjustment is as followed:

    Lattidude: 39.999946
    Longtitude: 74.222819

    Elevation: 25.1
    Azimuth: 237.1

With the dish positioned above, the best signal strength is 75% and the quality is 40%. And I can receive only 24 channels at best.

Can anyone tell me what I should do to get more channels? I've read the forum and it sounds like people recommend 30" dish at minumum to be able to receive more channels. Is that correct?

    Tom.

Read the rules. No illegal discussion is allowed. To recieve Dish network channels you need Dish network provided receiver and subscription.
