Can I get signal from Galaxy IIIC???

Hi: I was wondering if I can get signal from the Galaxy IIIC (95º W) satellite here in Wash.,DC. I think the answer is yes, but I want to confirm it. According to the pointing calculater the coordinates are:

Azimuth: 207
Elevation: 41

By the way, are they broadcasting the DirecTVLatin feed on the US beam????
Thanks for any help on this.

Were you able to get it working?

Similar issue as yours, starting off both receiver and LNB brought from Venezuela.

Currently in Houston. Bought a 18" dish in US. When aiming at Galaxy3C (175azimuth 55elevation) with original LNB signal reads 99, but replacing by GLA LNB (LNB04GLA) signal drops and receiver signal meter unable to pick signal (short tones instead of continuous one).

As LNB & receiver must match, no image when I use the GLA receiver with the US LNB.

Might be an antenna size issue? If so, how I determine appropriate size? If not, what might be causing the GLA LNB not working and how do I solve it?

Thanks in advance,
