Can I use your FTA receivers to watch channels available on DirecTV and Echostar for FREE?
The answer is NO. These channels are encrypted and require authorized receivers and activation by the service provider. However, you can only watch or listen to the FTA channels available on these satellites. There are many music channels available for Free. But you will need a special circular polarity LNBF to do that.
The DSS LNBF also has a L.O. frequency of 11250.

Music TV or the Music choice Radio channels? ( more than 30 radio ) I have DirecTV and kinde a suprize to here that you can whatch/see thoughs programs for free. I love the radio channels on this satellite thay have CD qualety sound and no comercal at all... If its free I recomand to all the music lovers :roll:
I guess the answer from Sadoun is related to the fact that most of the satellites broadcasting DirecTV are also used/leased by other companies/channels. For instance Panamsat provides broadcasting capabilities to DirecTV and also to many other companies meaning that one you point your dish to the DirecTV satellite its not really a DirecTV satellite its someone's else satellite broadcasting DirecTV programming as well as others like FTA.
