directv dish question

i was wondering if a lnbf would work if i used my original directv dish?
nothing wired going on, just wat to eliminate rain fade. there is a fortec lnbf that look like it would work with my single lnb dish.

Just a Guess here, As long as both are the same demensions Angle and all, And both have the same Frequency Range I wouldnt see why not. Hack its at most 2 lil Screws just to test it out. Give it a shot and let us know.

For DirecTv you need a DSS type LNB using circular polarity. The Fortec LNBs are linear so no it won't work.

rain fade

The best way to stop rain fade is to get a bigger dish.I have dishnetwork which is a 20" dish and it would go out during a hard rain but I found me 2 24" dish pointed one at the 119 and the other at 110 used dish pro lnbf on both dishes to a sw34 switch to combine the 2 dishes and no more rain fade
