getting both direct tv/DN and T5 FTA....??

The signal for DBS broadcasts from Direct TV (and Dish Network) is supposed to be much stronger than let's say T5 FTA. Is it possible to lock on to T5 and place another LNB with circular polarity right next to the the center LNB with a 30" dish to get DirectTV programming off of GE4 or DTV1 (101 W and 110 W, respectively) or Dish network programming at 110 and 119 W. I was curious if the increased signal strength would make it less sensitive and suitable for a multifeed setup like this. If anyone has dabbled and has some experience with this type of setup, I'd appreciate the help. I'm guessing you would have to keep the two feeds separate and couldn't use a High frequency splitter/combiner???

Also, are the direct tv LNB's compatible with dishnetwork. It's not quite clear what the difference between a D-tube and H-tube LNB is. Will a DN LNB work with a standard Wineguard dish??

thanks in advance.

E.

Only info I can offer is that, yes you can use an LNB from dish for direct and vice versa.

See sample installation here http://sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/100cm-dish.htm

You will need a motor to move the dish.
