Satellite Finder Modification

My satellite finder is a very handy and useful tool for location of birds, but I made a modification. I added a small switch on top that shuts off the audio signal so as to save my ears and not annoy the neighbors. Just ran it in series with one of the wires and hot glued the switch. Take a peek at the attachment.

You have some great ideas... I don't have too much need for this one... I have never been able to find a bird with my meter... I usually end up taking the receiver and the tv out to the dish and use it to find the birds. I wish someone would teach me how to use this meter thingy. The noise helps me and my neighbors are far away, but, I still haven't found a bird with it.

After I had my system installed and working I used the meter to fine tune the signal. Worked great for that.
