Use of sat. finder and H-H motor

Wanted to share an interesting observation, the other day when I was using a satellite finder in line with the satellite receiver to fine tune my signal quality, I noticed that the H-H motor would not turn when the gain of the satellite finder was turned too high. When the gain was turned down on the meter, then the motor had no problem moving to the different satellite positions.

Had me stumped for a while as to why the motor was not responding. Well there it is.
