Exclamation Maxpeak SAM or wait for SATHAWK 5000?

Hi
Is the "Maxpeak SAM" has the same features of Sathawk 4000.
And does the "Maxpeak SAM" work with no problems in the Middle East.

If NO, then when the "sathawk 5000" is going to be available?

Thank you

Thanks Muad'Dib for replying, but I couldn't find anything there that would help.

Anyone can give me a clue?

Ignore that website. It looks like an affiliate advertising website. Linking to these kind of website here does not go well with our forum rules.

Back to your question. If you are not in a hurry I would wait for the SH5000. The Maxpeak we sell has datafile for North America only. Any other regions will require a datafile from the mfg at an extra cost of up to $75. You will not be able to modify or create your own datafile.

With the SatHawk 5000 you will be able to modify or create your own datafile for any KU/C band satellite in the world. No extra cost for that.

Cool

DrDishTV is the main website for the DrDishTV magazine, well known as the tv station for sat enthusiasts!!

You can watch the interview with Polytron & the info about the maxpeak online. There are 3 of them, 1 for DVB-T, 1 for DVB-C and 1 for DVB-S.

SORRY. I posted the wrong url...........

DrDish - Test der Verbindungsgeschwindigkeit / connection speed test

Koodoo,
if we talk about my experience i had tried different meters but couldn't just find the right product for a longtime until I started using Birdog latest release. It's a cadillac of all finder/meters.Very easy to operate and quick !
I actually never faced any problem with this piece of handy electronic !
I do have a Maxpeak as well (in my fish aquarium). It looked really beautiful but worst at handling and performance.
Try out Birdog if you haven't yet.Doesn't looks beautiful but is beauty is what we are looking for? I made a mistake with maxpeak, surely not to be repeated again !!!
