Sat meter for Wild Blue

What kind of meter do I need to "tweak" my Wild Blue
system. My system is installed and operating but, if I
need to peak it some, I would like to have a meter to
do so. I also have several FTA systems a good meter
for this would also be handy .

Also, do I need the Wild Blue APA adaptor for dish peaking ?

Thanks,
L.L.

Yes,
You will need an apa plus the attentuators on the modem installers use. The voltage+amps encountered otherwise without the attentuators will "fry" most satellite meters. Personally, I use the cheap sf95 sold here and it works well as the apa itself works as a satellite identifying unit.

Second, why would you want to tweak the dish ever! If installed properly it will never need a tweek and if you think it does you should call your installer or service representative. They can watch your modem and dish from their computer and tell you exactly how it is performing in a couple minutes. The service is free, costs you nothing and you will not void the equipments warranty!

Have a good day,

Techman
