SatHawk 3000-Dish Sats wrong

Why is my SH3000 indicating lock on 129w when it is actually locking on 119w and vise versa? Also....meter will indicate 119w lock when it is pointed @ 91

I noticed that it would do the same thing for the new sathawk 4000
i found the 148 echo set on nimiq 2 because it not work with it set on 148.
i also noticed that when set on the 119 pro plus, it is not always going to work. it has alot of quirks another thing i dont like is that you have to guess what level of battery power you have left

This has always been an issue, even with the SatHawk 3000.

Most of the Echo satellites share the same transponder data. The meter relies on that data to identify the satellite.

Keep in mind to use the correct azimuth. Then is the meter to find and identify the satellite.

Whenever, Echo uses a unique data, we will incorporate that data into the meter.

You can update your SH3000 yourself by following the instructions here: SatHawk Datafile Software Download section

SH3000 or SH4000 can't be upgraded to SH5000. Different Hardware and software.

I need some help......the meter use to work fine until i had to re peak the dish now it wont lock on to IA7 satellite "Starband". i need some help with reprograming the meter. I am currently on the locked on the satellite it cant identify it. I am on Cluster 9, Sub Cluster 1, Vertical

Here is the link to the 3000 download section. You can put together your own datafile with any new satellite information if you wish or use a pre-set datafile.

Make sure the battery is fully charged to get a good data transfer.

Sat 3000 locks on many sats .The problem is support. I have two .No support, just double talk and the run around .Only support for the newer meters. .
What we need is what we paid for UPDATES and support for the SatHawk 3000.We purchased in good faith ,return the faith.

That download is more than a year old and has to many negative issues. You know we need a newer version to correct the issues..WE need support .so many of us have bought the Sathawk 3000 .I have two.

I have spent much money over the years on your site.All I am asking is some suport and Respect as a long time customer .

Hi Davy

Go to SatHawk Digital Satellite Signal Meter with Positive Satellite ID and dowload the satloader program and datafile updater. Update the datafile and then load it into the sathawk.
