We have to request a data file?? Shouldnt we just be able to download it onto our Meters??? Is it normal that these birds are not in the everyday data file??
I think that is a little insane that they are not included!

New update V1.4 posted http://www.sadoun.net/forums/sathawk...-released.html
The Meter's Nimiq data is designed assuming you are using a DishPro Twin LNBF with a built-in switch. If you use a different configuration, let me know. Check it out and let me know if we need to do any changes.

Great...Thank You! But yes I mostly use Non Dish Pro (Legacy) LNB's. If you could correct that, it would greatly be appreciated!! Also for the rest of the Dish Network birds to set is as NON DISH PRO would be a great big help as well. Thanks so much!! |

Well try to use the file anyway and see if it works for you. Since Nimiq 1 & 2 share almost the same data, you maybe able to use either of the data with the legacy LNBF.
You will get a lock on either the L or R or both for each satellite. The nice thing about the SatHawk it has a built in DiSEqC command that will control the built-in switch in the DishPro Twin LNBF. So you don't have to disconnect the cable to each satellite signal separately. All you have to do is select the correct satellite name on the LCD screen of the SatHawk. There you have it...
