Hello. Does the sathawk3000 work to set up hughesnet dishes? For high speed internet? If so what are the sats, and can I find them on the sat data page at Satmeter.com? My boss told me to look for sats
sat mex 5 sat mex 6 horizon1 ia8 ia6 g4r g11 galaxy 16 I found the satmex5 - 116.8, ia8 - 89W, ia6 - 93W, g4r - galaxy4r 99W, g11 - galaxy11 91W. But no Horizon1, galaxy 16, or satmex6. Any help would be appretiated. |

Well, I did have an install the other day calling for satmex6, 113 W. That is one sat that isnt in the Hughesnet data lists for satpicker. Least not for the Sathawk. I know the Birdog has the data to lock on the satmex 6, but I have yet to find a site that can provide me with the data that I can use in my Sathawk. I was able to scratch up a sat called solidaridad2 113w. Here is to hoping.

Well due to the snow out here in Portland I haven't had an opportunity to try it. I may have to move to the birdog if I can't get this to work. Keep in mind, I have been more than happy with the Sathawk, but if I can't find the data to support my instillations, I don't see a reason to have it. I personally find it hard to believe that the providers of the meter, let alone Hughesnet, don't have the necessary data available to installers.
