NEW SatHawk Problem

I just a NEW SatHawk 3000 today from Sadoum and we turned it on and it goes Initializing and stays there. I left it for about 15 min and it did not change.

This is not good at all.

Anyone any ideas out there????

Have you charged the battery at least 8 hrs?
Have you tried to upload a datafile to the meter?

Try unplugging the battery, leave it out 15 seconds, then plug it back in?

When you turn on the meter there will be an option to turn on or off the backlight (Set Backlight) If you're there then you need to press the mode button to continue.
