Hello to all:
My hardware: Quantity 2 Birddog meter with their data cable, quantity 2 USB 2.0 DB9 to RS232 interface cables, 1 Toshiba notebook centrino, one HP desktop pentium four. Went to www.birddog.tv to download software for KV, KH Intel Sat America 5 and other KU band satellites, and all I get is an error Ack not received.
I don't believe both meters are bad, I just bought everything last Monday, is all brand new.
Perfect 10 don't know what is wrong.
Can you help me please, before I decide to send them both meters back?

Maybe if I return my 2 Birdog meters to Perfect-10 somebody will help me ?

I have never had a problem downloading files and loading them into my Birdogs; I followed the instructions on the Birdog website and everything went perfectly. I know that they are very bad at answering emails. Perhaps try downloading the file again. Make sure there is no anti-virus software running.

Hey Bob!
Thanks for repllying to me.
I disabled my antivirus in my (3) pc's and the same Ack not received error arrived.
Technicians in Perfect-10 are going nuts too.
Funy thing is my buddy up in Missoula Montana got the same problem also.
And I think he got his in Sadoun.
Anyways I'm considering get the one from Spaun. Lot more $, but I need a reliable meter from a reliable source.
If anything change, I'll let you know.

OK, but don't give up on the Birdog yet. I use mine daily and they are excellent meters. There is no way that both your meters could be bad; its got to be something in the connection with your computer.
