Question SATHAWK 3000 Signal strength need help

I just installed a T90 satellite with 7 lnb on it and bought the sathawk 3000 to help in getting signal. I noticed i keep getting low signal strength around 33 to 44 and picture quality at 99

what do i need to do to get correct signal reading.

I uploaded latest file which is the 3.8

Many thanks

signal strength not as important as quality if youare getting a 99 on quality you should be good to go.

Hi Sal

You will need to Calibrate the meter.

Here is how to do it:
  • When you have a lock on the satellite (you will see Signal Strength and Quality)
  • Click on MODE button and hold until you see the calibration screen
  • The first option is to calibrate the Signal strength
  • Click Mode again (do not hold this time)
  • You will see the signal srength and some calibration number on the right.
  • Click and hold the Down arrow button until you see the signal strength increase to let's say 70-80 %.
  • Stop
  • Click Mode > Click Mode again to save.
You can calibrate the Quality as well, the same way.

More instructions here: http://sathawk.tv/Instructions.htm#C...ting_the_meter_

Usually calibration is required depending on the size of dish you use.
You always want to have signal and quality at around 80% to allow you to fine tune the dish alignment.
