Sathawk 3000

Purchased a Sathawk 3000, hooked it up to my direcway system that is active and working perfectly, however the Sathawk does not lock on or show a PQ signal, it does show a 52 on signal strength. Didn't want to move my dish because It's working and I'm getting a good signal, originally set up system using my laptop. Shouldn't the Sathawk pick up or what is it that I'm doing wrong. The sathawk has the latest in software and the Sat. is listed when I scroll through.???? Any helpwould be appreciated.

Which DirecWay satellite are you using?

What type of LNBF isntalled on your dish?

Ok, so I downloaded the latest Sat. info. and uploaded into my Sathawk 3000. Guess what? It now locks on to the Sat., which was IA8. Strange, before it wouldn't lock on, even though the software in my 3000 showed the Satellite.

Have you downloaded the DirecWAy satellites datafile listed on the website I mentioned?

Evidently, because it wouldn't lock on to IA8 before I installed the new update.... tks again
