sathawk 3000

I don't know if this is the right place to place this topic, but my questions is i purchase a sathawk 3000 and somehow has deleted the information on it. When i turn it on, it says:

DSB SAT LOCATOR
OPTION DELETED
5.0.8

Any help would be appreciated

Sounds to me like your Sathawk is in need of a download of the system. The one I have gets Sats Found that I don't want but not the sats that I want!!! We have the opposite problems. I suggest that you go to SatHawk website and download the program or call your dealer for help.

Thanks for the reply. I contacted the manufacturer, and the meter had to be rebooted a certain way. Everything is fine now.

Hello,

I am experiencing the same problems mentioned above.

When I turn on the meter it displays:
DSB Sat Locator
Option Deleted
5.08
Language 6

Does anybody know to reboot the meter or install firmware to correct this problem?

Spoke to the fine folks at Lacuna who are the manufacturers of the meter.

The meter has six divisions, and if you are seeing "Option Deleted" you have somehow changed or switched to a different division.

Solution:

Turn meter on by pressing both arrows,
Immediately thereafter press red button plus arrow up (or red button plus arrow down),
Press red button (mode) until data set is restored.
