Need help/schematic Sathawk 3000
I screwed myself big time. The batteries in my Sathawk have been dwindling ever since I bought it , less than a year ago. So I decided to change them myself, which seemed simple enough. Not! Somehow I shorted the thing out. Keep in mind, I'm no electronics tech. After opening it up I found the first surface mount resistor next to the DC power source to be fried. The resistor is marked "075". With no way to measure it in circuit and not wanting to desolder another, I have no way of knowing what the actual value is. I took it to a local electronics store and the person had some sort of formula of how to measure it in circuit, In which I was sceptical to. She said it is a ".075 ohm" resistor. I have looked everywhere for this resistor with no luck as of yet. The closest I have come is a ".10 ohm" I did try it, and it seemed to work but I noticed my memory had been erased. So I downloaded the software for it and loaded it and everything looked positive. Not! As soon as I connect it to a LNB it dies. I'm not sure if it's because of the incorrect resistor value "cross my fingers" or if there is a deeper problem. If anyone has a schematic or any helping advice I'd be greatly appreciative.
