When will be posted new file for sathawk 3000? Current one AU4.03 is from December 11 2006.
Is it possible to usee file from sathawk4000 and to load into 3000 model, with some minor changes?
Or it will just be no more updates for previous model? Is Is it Sadoun asking all peple to buy new model 4000 and to obsolete 3000? Forget that Sadoun sold so many 3000 models.
4000 is so superior than 3000 that can even work using batery charger conncted. Other than that everuthing is almost indentical.
Did Sadoun abandon all previus loyal customers?

I would like to know if there will ever be another update for the sat hawk 3000. I just got it right before you released the 4000.Also I am having problems with it charging,I can charge it till it says complete and then it's only at 30%.

I believe this post was originally about asking for support and updates for the SatHawk 3000 model, and not where to download the datafile loader software which we already have! We need updates, such as support for DishPro Plus 1000.2 LNBF's since the SatHawk 3000 originally advertised it works with the "Plus" technology. So instead of posting the datafile loader software and giving SatHawk 3000 users the run around, please answer this question, will we ever see updates for the SatHawk 3000 or is it truly discontinued and no longer supported?

Hi, try to use the Satmeter 2.1.0 program to update and test your own datafile. Download the program from here:SatHawk Datafile Software Download section

I have loaded an update to the datafile on the same page. Test it out.

Sathawk 3000 does not support DPP lnb's such as 1000.2 dish. It's not software issue. It's hardware. You need to change a chip in the meter. I know a company who used to do that for $50. I do not know if they still do that. I'll check to see if I can post the name here.

It has been advertised as the 5.1.6 version of the SatHawk 3000 does support DP Plus technology and that is the current model that I have. It does work with DP Plus Twin's but not the new DP Plus Triple 1000.2 LNBFs. The chip upgrade was for older version SatHawks if I recall correctly.
