Problems loading anything
I just received my new Sathawk 4000. I am stationed in Iraq so I need to load the Middle East data. I downloaded the SatLoader 3.0.2 file and the data file. I followed all the instructions to a "T". It would not accept the drivers at all for the meter. I tried the uninstall, unplug the meter and then plug it back in and let the drivers load up themselves again and it won’t work. It keeps telling me that there is a windows error. It has located the driver but encountered an error trying to install it. I then let someone else try with instructions printed out for them to follow step by step. Same thing. So then I had an even different person try on 2 different computers (I made it a challenge). Nothing is working. I am open to any ideas or suggestions; we have tried both Windows XP and Vista (2 XP machines and 1 Vista), different cables, redownloading the zip files, you name it, I think we tryed it. We even tried reloading the firmware but just got errors with that also and would not let anything go to the meter. Please help. Thank you!

Help please...
I'm also new to this forum. Why is there not a DIRECT e-mail or PHONE NUMBER to get in contact with technical support?
We just purchased a new SatHawk 5000 and are trying to upload anyting to it from the website using the instructions provided. The instructions DO NOT WORK. The driver for the 5000 will not load and therefore the USB device will not work. The error message I get is: This device cannot start. (Code 10) The Driver I'm supposedly trying to upload is: 6.0.2600.1 My e-mail address is: jeffrey@kpho.com Phone (602) 650-5585 |
